At the conference, Victoria-Anne, student of Graduate School of International Cultural Studies, presented our research on Neural Processing of Attitudinal Prosody During Second Language Sentence Comprehension, discussing the brain mechanisms underlying how second language users interpret a speaker’s intention through intonation, and examining the influence of language exposure on this process.
