NEWS ニュース 202509.04 Exploring with fMRI: How Personality Traits and Optimism Alter Pain Responses (Oral Presentation · Awarded) Posted in Presentation To better capture individual differences in pain sensitivity, we combined psychological assessments with brain imaging and examined responses to experimentally induced pain. A unique feature of this study is the integration of behavioral experiments and fMRI analyses, allowing us to explore how psychological factors correspond to neural mechanisms. On September 4, Chang Xiaoqian, student of Graduate School of Medicine participated in the “CogNAC × CBE Workshop (28th CBE Research Meeting),” co-hosted by Tohoku University’s Center for Applied Cognitive Neuroscience (CogNAC) and the IEICE Technical Committee on Communication Behavior Engineering (CBE). She delivered a presentation in the Young Researchers’ session, and She was honored to receive the Young Presentation Award for her talk. The workshop brought together a wide range of research in psychology, neuroscience, and sociology related to communication behavior, fostering lively discussions. She received many insightful comments from researchers in different fields, which will greatly contribute to improving and developing her research.(Sugiura) Chang Xiaoqian, Sakaki Kohei, Yuko Okamoto, Ding Yi, Guan Lingfei, Peng Xinyu, Shao Chong, Denilson BRILLIANT T, Maekawa Masamitsu, Taniyama Yozo, Nakajima Taira,Tsuchiya Momoyo, Sugiura Motoaki 性格特性と楽観主義が実験的疼痛に与える影響 28th Communication Behavior Engineering Type 2 Research Group (CogNAC × CBE Workshop),IDAC, Tohoku University, SA building 1st floor, International Conference Room, Sendai: Japan【 Oral presetation 】https://www.ieice.org/~cbe/report/report_20250904.html Attachments Back to the list Previous article Back to the list Next article Archive Monthly August 2026March 2026January 2026December 2025November 2025October 2025September 2025August 2025July 2025June 2025May 2025April 2025 Yearly 2026202520242023
