202509.07 Insights of four key dialogue modes in daily communication and their neural bases(Poster Presentation) Posted in Presentation

We defined “Dialogue Modes” (DMs) as patterns of enjoyable daily conversations driven by distinct social motivations. Using fMRI, we found that Relief, Comfort, Novelty, and Hobby modes each exhibited distinct neural signatures. Yin May Zin Han, student of Graduate School of Medicine presented these findings at the 89th Annual Convention of the Japanese Psychological Association, held at Tohoku Gakuin University’s Itsutsubashi Campus.
Many researchers from both related and diverse fields visited her poster, leading to stimulating discussions on social communication. She also had the opportunity to explore numerous interesting studies and engage in valuable conversations with fellow researchers.(Sugiura)
