measurement of visual acuity

Return to Summary
1. course requirements
1.1. online content

Read this HP and understand the need for visual acuity measurement
1.2. practical training
Read the manual for the visual acuity measuring device located in the waiting room on the 2nd floor of the BI building, and actually use the device.

2. online contents
Because commonly distributed eyeglasses contain metal parts and entering the MRI scanner with contact lenses may cause damage to the eyeballs, we ask that those who wear eyeglasses or contact lenses remove them when they enter the MRI scanner.

When visual stimuli are used in fMRI experiments, simple glasses corresponding to MRI are made and worn by the participants.

Therefore, it is necessary to measure the naked eye visual acuity of the experimental participants using the visual acuity measuring device located in the subject waiting room on the second floor of the BI building.
The manual for the vision measuring device is located on the shelf where the necessary items for the MRI experiment, such as test clothes, are kept.
