202404.26 21st Human Neuroscience Seminar: Emotion, Music, Language, and Social Cognitive Neuroscience Posted in Event

The 21st Human Brain Science Seminar was hosted by the Department of Human Brain Science at the Institute of Development, Aging, and Cancer, Tohoku University. During the seminar, we were honored to welcome Dr. Francesca M.M. Citron from Lancaster University, UK. The seminar focused on the "Social Cognitive Neuroscience of Emotion, Music, and Language." We are especially thankful for Dr. Citron's insightful presentation, which significantly enhanced our understanding. Two students from our lab showcased their latest fMRI experimental results on music cognition and the interplay between emotion and language. The seminar fostered vibrant discussions on music, emotions, language, and culture, making it an extraordinarily enriching event. (Jeong)
