This study group was established to identify what social factors are considered problematic in terms of their influence on the perception and evaluation of self-image, and what phenomena are considered problematic as distortions in the perception and evaluation of self-image, and to formulate them into a research project.

The second meeting was held on the following date.
Prof. Motoaki Sugiura, a researcher in the Department of Human Brain Science at the Institute of Development, Aging, and Cancer, and Dr. Yumi Hamamoto, a researcher at the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences, gave presentations and discussed with study group members at the second meeting.
