MRI Room Use Checklist

Return to Summary > Daily Routine MRI Room Inspection
When you leave the MRI room, please check the “MRI Room Check List” before leaving the room.
  • Forced exhaust OFF
  • MRI Synchronizer OFF
  • MRI room display OFF
  • Return to head coil bed OK
  • Air conditioning in imaging room 24℃ OK
  • Operation room air conditioning OFF
  • Used cloths to the waiting room
  • Electricity in each room OFF
  • Checker sign

☑ Forced exhaust OFF
Make sure the “Emergency Exhaust Fan” is turned OFF.
(If the lamp is not on, it is OFF)

This device is used to replace the air inside the MRI imaging room in case of helium leakage.

It is not normally used, but was also used for ventilation to prevent infection. It also has a timer function.

☑ MRI Synchronizer OFF
Exit the application (Exit) and turn off the console PC screen.
(Do not shut down the PC itself)

Turn off the power to the MRI trigger box on the back of the device. (POWER lamp goes out).

☑ MRI room display OFF
Use the remote control to turn it OFF.

☑ Return to head coil bed OK
Place the head coil back on the bed, unplug the connectors and put the caps on.
Raise the bed to the top because there is an exhaust vent at the foot of the bed.

☑ Air conditioning in imaging room 24℃ OK
☑ Operation room air conditioning OFF


Check with the air conditioning panel.
The air conditioning in the imaging room is always on.

☑ Used cloths to the waiting room
Blankets should be temporarily stored in the “Used Cloth Storage” in the operation room and placed in the basket in the waiting room on the second floor when the experiment is over.

Please also put the change of clothes used by the subject in the basket in the waiting room on the 2nd floor.


☑ Electricity in each room OFF
Please turn off the lights in all rooms used, including the MRI operation room, imaging room, machine room, and waiting room.
