NEWS ƒjƒ…[ƒX 202405.29 Safety x Brain Science - For effective learning from safety cases - Posted in Event In order to maintain a high level of safety of complex systems such as aviation, railways, healthcare, and power supply, it is essential to learn from both failure and success cases. However, despite the saying "One man's fault is another's lesson", it can often be difficult to learn from safety cases, that is, others' experiences. This symposium will discuss human mind and behaviors that either hinder or promote learning from safety cases and explore the potential application of neuroscience for a deeper understanding of such learning process.
