How to post the Event Information and News

This page explains how to post the news articles of CogNAC (An exemplar image at the left).

1. Log in CMS

2.  Preparing the article which you want to post
 Please prepare the article that you want to post in both language, Japanese and English. 
In addition, an image (illustration or photo) is needed to prepare.
 The article (especially title) is required to be research question that attract ordinary people's attention and entertain them.If necessary, technical terms and detail explanations(includes names of congresses and journals) should be mentioned in the latter half of article .
In addition, please make sure the image you prepared is displayed only center part as an icon in the Top Page.

 

3. How to post news articles.
Please click "Post the news" , next click "Add New" tab, then you see the page like the left.

Please post the news article and image that you prepared in procedure 1. 


(1) Type and categories
 Type: In the case, the article concerned to the event that you are plan to hold in future, please choose "plan". In the case the article concerned to the event or conference that you already held or participated and others, please choose "report".



(2) The post period
It is desirable that would be "Always Posted" unless there are special circumstances. In the case you have a plan to hold an event, please set "Post period" as "Configuration", and  "Posted date" as the date which the event will be held. Further,the end of posted period is recommended to set the date which the event is ended.

4.Adding the block

If you want to add image and text newly, please click "Add block", then new submission form of text and image will be developed (Left). Please make sure that the image locates left of the text usually, so you need to consider their locations and paragraphs.

5. The function of each button
During the operation of making the article, 5 buttons bottom of the page are available.
If you want to save the article work in the progress, please click "Save". In that case you must post the text and image. It is recommendable that you click "Save" frequently to prevent
 elimination of the article data on the progress. 
If you want to check preview of official website, please click "Preview".
 You can confirm the preview in both languages, Japanese and English. In addition, please click "Save" before this process.
Please inscribe the name of article author in the brackets end of the page.
Example: If Taro CogNAC create the article, inscribe like below
                                             (CogNAC)



When you finished creation of the article, please click "Publish" button.

6. Confirmation of News that you posted
 Next, please reload the "News" page,
https://cognac.tohoku.ac.jp/eng/news/index.php
and confirm your artilce was uploaded successfully.

*After the event, please change the contents as "Report", and change the sentences as past tense. Next please post the pictures, and publish the article.

7. To add the article for faculties' profile
