Eye trucking (calibration and recording)

Position and focus the camera on the subject's eyes while looking at the display

Operating room

Calibration

Set “Data Point” to about 9-16

Select the eye organ to be tracked from “EyeA”.
Select which data to record, depending on the experimental design.

 (1) Single data point
  • Pupil Location” Pupil location
  • Grint Location” Corneal reflex location
 (2) Multiple data points
  • Grint-Pupil Vector” Vector difference between corneal reflex and pupil

Guide the subject through the process.
“You will see a series of green squares on the screen.”


Click on “Auto-Calibrate”.

Calibration takes about 15 seconds.
*An MRI Survey may be performed in parallel at this time.

Success if eye organs are tracked
*In the image, only the pupil is tracked.

After calibration is completed, the image to be transferred to the MRI imaging room display is switched to the PC for stimulus presentation.

 

Start recording before MRI imaging begins

Click on the tab “File
>“Data” > “New Data File”.

 

Enter a name and click

Save

Recording begins.

 

Terminate the recording after MRI imaging is complete.

Click on the tab “File
> “Data” > “Close Data File”.

End the recording.

Press “Time Stamp

Tab “Window
> “KeyPad/Datamaker”> “KeyPad/Datamaker

A keypad of alphabets, numbers, symbols, etc. will appear.
It is possible to record any timestamp, such as the timing when the image capture started.
