202509.04 CogNAC x CBE Workshop Posted in Event

We are pleased to announce the CogNAC x CBE Workshop (28th CBE Meeting) and invite submissions for presentations. We are seeking research presentations and comprehensive overviews across a wide range of fields related to communication behavior, including psychology, neuroscience, and sociology.
This workshop is jointly organized by the Tohoku University Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Center (CogNAC) and the Communication Behavior Engineering (CBE).
Presentations on brain activity measurement experiments using methods such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) are particularly welcome.

Presentation Categories:

  1. General Presentation: 20-minute presentation, 5-minute Q&A
  2. Young Researcher Presentation: 7-minute presentation, 3-minute Q&A
Young Researcher Presentations are primarily intended for graduate students. Awards are planned for particularly outstanding presentations. Students are welcome to apply for the General Presentation category as well. Please note that we may need to adjust your presentation category after application.
In addition to oral presentations, a free discussion session with poster panels will also be held. We encourage you to bring your materials in any format and enjoy exchanging ideas and information with researchers from diverse fields.

Manuscript Guidelines for Proceedings:
The format and page count for manuscripts are flexible. Submissions in the format of the IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) Technical Report are also acceptable.

Manuscript Publication:
This workshop will be held as a Type 2 Research Meeting of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE). Copyright will remain with the authors, and manuscripts will be made available only to registered participants.
